Employment with GBS -  Telephone Sales - Positions Available

  Guarantee Business Systems is a 20+ year old technology company that is a established and reputable reseller of data storage, network hardware and point of sale equipment. We sell new, used and refurbished equipment to other businesses worldwide.

  We are always looking for additional sales professionals who are interested in CLOSING DEALS, buying and selling technology hardware using their own creativity, negotiating skills and closing talents. We welcome applications from those of you with technology sales experience, as well as, those with equally strong, yet unrelated, sales experience. So, if you are in sales elsewhere and are looking for a career move, consider us for your next opportunity. We are looking for dedicated, self-motivated salespeople to work remotely and/or in our office. There is no long distance travel involved, hours are flexible and we supply full office support to all of our contracted salespeople.

  GBS is an informal, friendly, encouraging and professional sales team. Your ability to earn lucrative commissions is only limited by your determination and desire, GBS can provide the resources to support you, along with over 20 years of experience in our industry and a solid financial structure.   

 

            Questions to answer before you submit an application:  

 

1.      Do you have a proven track record in sales and a clear-eyed view of what commission based sales is?  

2.      Are you a hard-working, honest person that is confident and self-motivated?  

3.      Are you able to work without constant supervision?  

4.      Are you organized and articulate, able to research and build new relationships by phone and by email?  

5.      Do you need structure to work such as: an existing sales territory, or "key accounts" or "national accounts" assignment? Or are you a "go-getter" who likes to create your own accounts?

6.      Are you comfortable with being paid based on your performance only (ie: completed sales=commissions)  

7.      Do you enjoy new challenges to maintaining/growing market share?  

8.      Have you ever been responsible for creating your own lead generation as well as converting leads to sales on your own? If so, how much of your time do expect it to take? Are you comfortable with cold calling?  Are you self-motivated?

9.      Although you will work independently, are you agreeable with working with and allowing final agreement details/approval of all of your potential sales and purchases by GBS management?

Current Openings as of 8/21/09:
 
  • Commission Based Sales Rep - Flexible position (12-35 hours per week) for ambitious, self motivated closer to make daily telephone & email sales calls to businesses, option to work from home and/or our office located in Eagan, MN. Out of state salespeople may also apply. You can set your own hours and build your own clientel, leads and have full financial, legal and admininstrative support provided. This is a 100% commission based pay position. Your commission percentage and future benefits potential will be based on your experience and proven sales record (up to 40% of Net Profit on larger deals). Technology sales history not required, but recommended. You don't need to be a technology expert to sell hardware, but basic computer skills are required such as email, word, excel, ACT and online searching are necessary.
  • Part-time temp-office sales positions- Flexible scheduling 20-30 hours per week. Starting hourly wage is $10-$12 per hour based on experience. Position is for business to business sales via phone, email and web. This is a temporary position from month to month initially, and for the right person could become a permanent position with profit-sharing after 6 months.
